Unjar LIVE with Elizabeth Crenshaw

Elizabeth Crenshaw is an E-RYT 500, YACEP, a Yoga Therapist, and is the owner of Yaktown Yoga. She is a former collegiate track athlete plus bodybuilder turned yoga teacher and a graduate of the Beaumont School of Yoga Therapy, the first hospital-based yoga therapy program in the nation. Elizabeth loves teaching therapeutic yoga including Restorative, Chair, Yin and Yoga Nidra for groups and individuals, but her specialties including yoga for seniors, trauma-sensitive yoga, accessible yoga, adaptive yoga, yoga for athletes, yoga and mindfulness in schools, yoga for juvenile detention centers and adult prisons, and instruction on effective treatment plans from a variety of issues including musculoskeletal to heart disease, to cancer, to depression, anxiety and stress. She is a Michigan State University Graduate (Go Green! Go White!) with a background in Journalism, Kinesiology, and Engineering. When she is not chasing down the next best story or pumping iron, she is providing healing to her community through yoga and yoga therapy and holistic health and wellness coaching. Elizabeth believes in the healing and transformative power of yoga, and that the practice of yoga is meant for everyone. She is deeply committed to creating spaces for all to breathe and making wellness and yoga accessible in marginalized communities. Yoga is for everybody!
